Release form and composition
Luffel is released in the form of a homeopathic nasal spray: transparent liquid, slight opalescence is allowed, colorless or light yellow, odorless (20 ml in dark glass vials with a spray dispenser, 1 vial in a cardboard box).
100 g of homeopathic nasal spray contains the following active ingredients:
- Luffa operculata (covered luffa, or luffa laxative, genus Luffa, pumpkin family) diluted D4, D12 and D30 - 10 g each;
- Thryallis glauca (gray triallis, genus Triallis, Malpighian family) diluted D4, D12 and D30 - 10 g each;
- Histaminum (histamine) diluted D12, D30 and D200 - 5 g each;
- Sulfur (sulfur) diluted D12, D30 and D200 - 5 g each.
Auxiliary components of the spray: preservative benzalkonium chloride (~ 0.01%), sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride (to establish isotonicity), water for injection.
Pharmacological properties
Luffel is a combined homeopathic remedy, the effectiveness of which is provided by the presence in the mixture of low-potentiated infinitely small doses of ingredients, combined according to the nosological principle, for the treatment of inflammation of the nasal mucosa caused by hypersensitivity.
Indications for use
Homeopathic nasal spray is recommended for the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
Contraindications
According to the instructions, Luffel is contraindicated for use in children under 6 years of age and in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the antiallergic agent, including benzalkonium chloride.
With caution, only after a doctor's prescription, the spray is used during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding), as well as in children over 6 years old.
Instructions for the use of Luffel: method and dosage
Spray Luffel is intended for intranasal administration by injection.
Recommended dosage: 3 times a day, 1-2 injections (doses) in each nasal passage.
The treatment period for acute conditions should not exceed 7 days. Prolongation of the therapeutic course is possible only as directed by a specialist.
Side effects
In rare cases, the use of a homeopathic spray may result in the following allergic reactions: irritation of the nasal mucosa, including accompanied by a burning sensation; increased secretion from the nose; nose bleed.
