Release form and composition
The drug is produced in the form of a liquid extract for oral administration, which is a reddish-brown liquid; precipitation is allowed during the storage of the extract (25 or 50 ml in dropper bottles of orange glass, in a cardboard box 1 bottle; 25, 30 or 50 ml in orange glass bottles, in a cardboard box 1 bottle and instructions for use of Leuzei liquid extract).
Composition for 1 liter of extract:
- roots and rhizomes of safflower leuzea - 1 kg;
- 70% ethanol (in an amount sufficient to obtain 1 liter of extract).

Pharmacodynamics
Leuzei liquid extract has general tonic and adaptogenic properties. It promotes the accumulation of ATP (adenosine triphosphoric acid) and glycogen in the liver, skeletal muscle and myocardium. In patients with adrenaline hyperglycemia, the drug lowers blood glucose levels. When insulin is administered to patients with diabetes mellitus, the extract prevents hypoglycemia.
The drug has an antihypoxic and hypolipidemic effect, and also increases the patient's resistance to physical stress and the effects of unfavorable environmental factors; increases mental performance, improves memory and ability to concentrate, increases potency and libido, reduces fatigue.
