Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Artificial tear is a protector of the corneal epithelium, which has a softening and lubricating effect. Increases the duration of contact of the solution with the cornea, has a high viscosity.
Restores, stabilizes and reproduces the optical characteristics of the tear film. The refractive indices of the solution are similar to those of natural tears.
Hypromellose lengthens the action of other eye drops used simultaneously and helps to protect the cornea from their irritating effects.
Objective / subjective improvement of the condition (epithelialization, reduction of lesions and hyperemia), as a rule, occurs within 3-5 days, marked improvement / complete cure - from 2 to 3 weeks.
Indications for use
- trophic ulcers and corneal erosion, lagophthalmos, insufficient tearing, eyelid deformation, ectropion, bullous dystrophic changes in the cornea, microdefects of the corneal epithelium, keratopathy;
- conditions in which it is necessary to lengthen the effect or eliminate the irritating effect of other eye drops;
- conditions after plastic surgery on the eyelids, keratoectomy, keratoplasty, thermal / chemical burns of the conjunctiva and cornea;

Consequences Of Artificial Feeding For Child Health
If the mother has to artificially feed the baby due to serious health problems, there is nothing to be done - you will have to feed milk substitutes. However, pediatricians note that it is not so rare that women, without good reason, do not intend to breastfeed a child for a long time, or they are not going to feed him at all, relying on the existence of milk formulas
