Deca-Durabolin is an anabolic agent that stimulates protein synthesis in the body, regulates nitrogen metabolism, fixes calcium in the bones.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - oil solution for injection (1 ml in ampoules, 6 ampoules in blisters, 2 packages in a box).

The active ingredient is nandrolone decanoate: in 1 ml - 25 or 50 mg.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

According to the instructions, Deca-Durabolin increases muscle mass and bone mass in osteoporosis, improves the fixation of calcium ions in the bones, and increases appetite. The drug has a lower androgenic activity compared to testosterone. Nandrolone decanoate accelerates the development of secondary sexual characteristics and the growth of genital organs in men. It stimulates the sebaceous and sex glands, and in high doses inhibits Leydig cells and inhibits the synthesis of endogenous sex hormones.

The anabolic effect of the drug is due to the activation of recovery processes in the epithelium, muscles and bones by increasing the biosynthesis of cell organelles and protein. Nandrolone decanoate improves the absorption of amino acids in the intestine, stimulates the synthesis of erythropoietin and anabolic processes in the bone marrow. When combined with iron preparations, it produces an antianemic effect. The drug is also used in women with disseminated breast carcinoma.

All the effects of the drug persist for three weeks after injection.

Indications for use
