Wundehil is an antiseptic with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antimicrobial and wound-healing properties.
Release form and composition
The drug is available in the form of an ointment (15 or 30 g in a tube, in a cardboard box 1 tube and instructions for the use of Wundehil).
Content of active ingredients in 100 g of the preparation:
- Propolis tincture - 5 g;
- Carofilen - 3 g;
- Sophora tincture - 3 g;
- Yarrow tincture - 2 g;
- Potentilla tincture - 2 g.
Excipients: anhydrous lanolin, sunflower oil, beeswax, pork fat.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Wundehil is a complex external preparation. It contains a combination of biologically active substances, which provides a highly effective anti-inflammatory, healing and bactericidal effect on the affected tissues and mucous membranes. The drug quickly relieves swelling and pain, intensively removes purulent (necrotic) formations, promotes the normalization of metabolic processes and rapid healing (regeneration) of tissues.
Wundehil also has bacteriostatic (antimicrobial) properties, thanks to which the drug prevents the infection of the wound with nosocomial strains of infections.
The ointment is made on a lipophilic basis, which prevents the dressing from drying to the site of tissue damage.
In almost all cases, wound healing occurs with the formation of delicate scar tissue.
Indications for use
Wundehil ointment is used in the treatment of such diseases:
- Psoriasis;
- Trophic ulcers;
- Neurodermatitis;
- Dermatitis, including radiation;
- Burns;
- Poorly healing wounds, including infected;
- Bedsores;
- Cervical erosion;
- Hemorrhoids;
- Cracked nipples.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Wundehil, instructions for use: method and dosage
Wundehil ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected skin 2-3 times a day.
In the treatment of cervical erosion, it is recommended to inject tampons with ointment into the vagina daily for 2-3 hours.
For hemorrhoids, tampons with ointment are injected into the rectum 2-3 times a day.
The period of treatment for erosion and hemorrhoids is from 7 to 30 days.
In case of burns, apply daily applications to the affected surface. The course of therapy is from 3 to 15 days, depending on the depth of the burn.
Side effects
No side effects have been reported with the drug.
