Release form and composition
The dosage form of Vitrum Prenatal is film-coated tablets: capsule-shaped, from dark to light pink, the presence of a specific smell is permissible (30, 60, 75, 100 or 120 pcs. In polyethylene bottles, in a cardboard box 1 bottle).

The drug provides replenishment of the deficiency of minerals and vitamins in the body of a woman during pregnancy and lactation.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Vitrum Prenatal is prescribed for prophylaxis in the following cases:
- hypovitaminosis, lack of minerals during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- iron deficiency anemia and calcium deficiency in pregnant women.
Contraindications
- excessive accumulation of iron in the body;
- hypervitaminosis A and D;
- urolithiasis disease;
- high blood calcium / excretion in the urine;
- individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Vitrum Prenatal is taken orally with water, preferably after breakfast.

- drugs with antimicrobial action of the sulfonamide group: therapeutic and side effects are enhanced, including the appearance of crystals in the urine (associated with vitamin C);
- thiazide diuretics: the likelihood of developing hypercalcemia increases;
- cholestyramine, antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium: iron absorption decreases;
- medicines containing vitamins A and D: the likelihood of an overdose of these vitamins increases (the combination is not recommended).
