Tambukan mud is an antiseptic external medicine of natural origin.

The source of sulphide silt mud is the salt lake Tambukan, located on the border with Kabardino-Balkaria.

According to some estimates, the healing properties of the Tambukan mud are not inferior to the mud of the Dead Sea in Israel. The healing properties are due to:

  • An organic component, which includes amino acids, humic acids, resinous substances and bitumen;
  • Mineral component, including gases, as well as slightly soluble compounds of minerals and salts of clay origin.

Candles with Tambukan mud have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, as well as stimulate the processes of regeneration and microcirculation and contribute to the restoration of tissue trophism.

Healing mud is produced both in pure form (in briquettes of 3 kg) and as part of medicinal preparations.

Tambukan mud as an active ingredient is part of the Tambuil preparation in the form of:

  • Oily solution for external use. The composition of the drug includes high-molecular organic acids (saturated and unsaturated), glycerides, phospholipids (cephalin, lecithin), sterols, chlorophyll and carotenoids. 50, 100 and 200 g each;
  • Candles with Tambukan mud, containing an extract of the biosubstance of silt therapeutic mud, cocoa butter, natural propolis and an auxiliary component - emulsifier T-2.
