Rhodiola liquid extract is a herbal medicine with a tonic and tonic effect.
Release form and composition
Dosage form of the drug - extract: dark brown with a reddish tinge liquid with a characteristic aroma; during storage, sediment precipitation is permissible (the extract is packed into dropper bottles and dark glass bottles, as well as canisters, in volumes depending on the manufacturer).
Composition for 1 liter of extract:
- active substance: rhizomes and roots of Rhodiola rosea - 1000 g;
- auxiliary component: ethanol 40% - in the amount required to achieve the required volume.

The active ingredient of the extract is the roots and rhizomes of rhodiola, which include organic acids, tannins, b-sitosterol, essential oils, as well as two crystalline substances - rhodiolizide and n-tyrosol, which have stimulating properties.
The drug has a general tonic effectiveness, increases the body's resistance to adverse factors such as environmental pollution, the action of viruses and pathogenic microflora, the effect of low and high temperatures. Rhodiola extract liquid increases physical, mental performance, restores vital functions after illness.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Rhodiola extract liquid is recommended for use as a stimulating drug for the following diseases / conditions:
- asthenic syndrome;
- neurasthenic conditions;
- increased fatigue;
- neurocirculatory dystonia (NCD) of the hypotonic type;
- convalescence (the process of restoring the normal functioning of the body after infectious, as well as severe somatic diseases);
- mental / physical stress (work in extreme conditions);
- acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) - for the purpose of prevention during epidemics.
Contraindications
Absolute:
- arterial hypertension;
- agitation, insomnia;
- febrile syndrome;
- period of pregnancy and lactation;
- children under 12 years old;
- hypersensitivity to any component of the extract.
Relative: Rhodiola extract liquid is prescribed with caution in liver diseases, alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, brain diseases, in childhood and adolescence from 12 to 18 years.

The extract is taken orally 15-30 minutes before meals, in the first half of the day.
