Thanks to its microdispersion in a non-greasy ointment / cream base, which is easily washed off, does not leave marks on clothes and does not have an odor, effective penetration of the drug into the skin and a quick onset of its action is ensured.

Overdose
The main symptoms: prolonged or excessive use of the drug can serve to suppress the function of the pituitary-adrenal system, due to which secondary adrenal cortex insufficiency, symptoms of hypercortisolism, including Cushing's syndrome, can occur.
Therapy: symptomatic treatment; if necessary, correct electrolyte imbalance; with chronic toxic effects, a gradual withdrawal of the drug is necessary.
special instructions
If after 14 days of treatment there is no effect, it is recommended to clarify the diagnosis.
With the development of hypersensitivity or irritation reactions, therapy is canceled and a more adequate treatment is selected.
In cases of secondary bacterial or fungal infection, appropriate drugs are additionally used. If a positive effect is not noted, Celestoderm-B is discontinued until all signs of infection are eliminated.
In children, when using covering dressings, therapy of extensive body surfaces, as well as prolonged use of the drug, its systemic absorption increases.
Any side effects of systemic glucocorticosteroids, including suppression of the function of the adrenal cortex, can also be observed with the use of glucocorticosteroids for topical use, especially in children.
The drug is used exclusively externally, it cannot be used in ophthalmology.
Celestoderm-B cream and ointment can be prescribed for children over 6 months. It should be borne in mind that children may be more susceptible to local glucocorticosteroids, which cause depression of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system than older patients, due to increased absorption of the drug associated with a greater ratio of their body weight and surface area.
When using local glucocorticosteroids in children, there was an increase in intracranial pressure, a lag in weight gain, linear growth retardation, Cushing's syndrome, suppression of the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system. Symptoms of suppression of the adrenal cortex function in children include a lack of response to stimulation of adrenocorticotropic hormone and a decrease in the level of cortisol in the blood plasma. An increase in intracranial pressure is manifested by bilateral edema of the optic nerve head, headache, bulging fontanelle.
