Wilkinson's ointment is a combined agent for external use with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal, antiparasitic action.
Release form and composition
Dosage form - ointment for external use (10, 20, 30, 50 and 100 g in tubes or cans).
Content of active ingredients in 100 g of ointment:
- Tar - 15 g;
- Purified sulfur - 15 g;
- Naftalan ointment - 30 g.
Auxiliary components: calcium carbonate, green soap, water.

Wilkinson's ointment is a combined preparation that has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiparasitic and antifungal effects due to the effects of its active ingredients.
Properties of the individual components of the ointment:
- Tar: improves the supply of blood to tissues and the processes of regeneration of the epidermis, enhances the processes of keratinization, has a disinfecting effect, and causes reflex reactions;
- Sulfur: interacts with organic substances, forming compounds with antimicrobial and antiparasitic action;
- Naftalan oil: has a resorbing, emollient, disinfectant and mild analgesic effect.
Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetic parameters of the drug are not described. The absorption of the active ingredients of the ointment into the systemic circulation is negligible.

Recommended therapy regimen:
- Bedsores, trophic ulcer, wounds - 2 times a day for 10-12 days;
- Trichophytosis - 2 times a day, course of treatment - 21 days;
- Scabies - rub once a day into the skin of the whole body, except for the face and scalp, for 3 days.
