Argolife is a colloidal silver-based hygienic product with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action.
Pharmacological action of Argolaif
The action of Argolife is due to the highly dispersed silver included in its composition.
The drug has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action, prevents the growth of pathogenic viruses, bacteria and fungi. Argolife has a more pronounced bactericidal effect in comparison with analogues - protargol and collargol.
According to reviews, Argolife does not cause allergic reactions and can be used for children.
Release form
Argolife is produced in the form of a 0.05% solution of colloidal silver in 10 ml vials.
Indications for the use of Argolaif
Argolife according to the instructions is used:
- For the treatment of ARVI and various ENT diseases;
- As an external hygiene product for treating the skin;
- In ophthalmology, gynecology and cosmetology.
Contraindications
Argolife is contraindicated only in case of individual intolerance to preparations containing silver.
Methods of administration and doses
Argolife can be used both in pure and diluted form, for which they use drinking or distilled water or weak solutions of baking soda. According to the Argolife instructions apply:
- For the treatment of ENT diseases, including sinusitis, adenoids, sinusitis, tonsillitis, rhinitis. It is recommended to sanitize the nasopharynx several times a day, diluting 2-4 teaspoons of the solution in a glass of water. It is also effective to do turundas with Argolife in the nose for 20-30 minutes for a week every day;
- To accelerate the healing of wounds, abrasions, herpetic eruptions, burns, cuts and insect bites, use a pure or diluted solution of Argolife;
- With ARVI, Argolife is used in the nose in pure form or in dilution in a 1: 1 ratio. Treatment is carried out until complete recovery, usually for 5-7 days, instilling 1-2 drops of the solution three times a day. When applied to the nose, Argolaif has a drying effect;
- In the treatment of candidiasis, Argolife in a dilution of 1: 5 or 1: 6 in water or a weak solution of baking soda is used for 10 days in the form of douching. For the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the genital area, baths with Argolaif are used, diluting 10 drops of the drug per 100 ml of water with the addition of 10-15 drops of tea tree oil. Treatment is carried out in the second phase of the menstrual cycle for 10-15 days. With erosion of the cervix, vaginitis and colpitis, Argolife diluted 1: 5 with water is used for tampons. Duration of treatment - up to 2 weeks;
- With gastritis, duodenitis and gastric ulcer for 10 days, Argolife is taken orally twice a day, 1 teaspoon diluted in a glass of water, an hour before meals;
- In the treatment of fungal infections of the nails, Argolife is used as a concomitant therapy, treating the affected nails with a solution twice a day. Treatment is usually long, from 4 to 6 months;

In chronic purulent conjunctivitis, barley and corneal ulcers, Argolife is diluted 1: 1 with water according to the instructions and instilled in 1-2 drops up to five times a day. For stomatitis and gingivitis, Argolife in the same dilution is used for lotions on the gums. The duration of therapy is 5-10 days.
According to reviews, Argolife also stimulates regenerative and metabolic processes in the skin, improves microcirculation, improves tone and has a rejuvenating effect.

Storage conditions
