What should be a healthy diet
What should be a healthy diet

Every person striving for longevity knows that proper nutrition is the most important component of a healthy lifestyle. “Man is what he eats,” and this is the absolute truth. Long years of “persecution” of the body with the help of semi-finished products, energy drinks, excessively fatty, salty and sweet foods do not pass without leaving a trace - and a modern person eventually begins to feel that his body is “losing ground”.

What should be a healthy way of eating in order to feel young and healthy for a long time?

It is worth starting with the fact that food consumption should be moderate. You should not consume food in quantities that exceed the natural needs of the body: this can lead to the accumulation of excess weight and all related problems - heart failure, hypertension, hormonal disorders, etc. Also, one should not "sit" on strict diets - with insufficient energy consumption, the body begins to slowly consume reserves from its own muscle tissue - first fats, and then proteins. The daily calorie intake for each person is different, and depends on his gender, age, nature of activity, as well as basic metabolism.

The next principle of a healthy diet is diversity. With each meal, we should receive various substances necessary for a full life: proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, trace elements, vitamins. Monotonous food suppresses appetite: the functionality of the digestive juices is reduced, and as a result, the food entering the body is poorly digested. The diet must contain vegetables, fruits, cereals, herbs, fish, lean meat, liver, eggs and dairy products. Daily consumption of all the necessary substances makes a person stronger, more resilient and active.

A healthy diet also implies adherence to food intake, as well as the frequency of these meals - 4 or five times a day, in small quantities. This allows you to maintain your blood sugar at an optimal level, which is a serious prevention of systematic and unhealthy overeating. In addition, eating at the same hours causes gastric juice to be produced even before food enters the esophagus.

Compliance with the above principles will not be particularly difficult for you - but it will make your body stronger and your life long and pleasant. Be healthy!
