Indications for diet 7

The menu of diet 7 is characterized by a slight restriction in the use of proteins, the physiological norm of carbohydrates and fats, with the exception of the use of table salt (food is prepared without using salt). It is allowed to drink no more than 800 milliliters of liquid per day. Extractive substances are excluded, and the use of vitamins is also increased. Meals with renal diet 7 fractional - five or six times a day.

Diet indications 7

This diet is shown for kidney disease: with acute diffuse glomerulonephritis during the recovery period (from the third to fourth days from the onset of the disease) and with chronic non-acute nephritis.

Diet 7 creates favorable conditions for the functioning of the kidneys during their inflammation, improves metabolic processes in the renal tissues and other organs, thereby increasing the effectiveness of treatment, and also improves urination and has an antiallergic effect.

After observing the renal diet 7, edema decreases, blood pressure decreases, and the water-electrolyte balance is restored.

  • Diet 7p.

Diet for kidney disease 7a is called low protein. It is characterized by the maximum sparing of kidney functions, an increase in the excretion of under-oxidized metabolic products and nitrogenous wastes from the body, the achievement of a hypotensive effect, a decrease in signs of uremia and an anti-inflammatory effect.

Diet 7b is indicated for chronic kidney disease with severe azotemia.

Renal diet 7c replenishes protein loss, reduces hypercholesterolemia, proteinuria, reduces and eliminates edema.

Diet 7g is indicated for renal failure, in which patients need regular hemodialysis.
