Method of administration and dosage

Ultraproject is intended for rectal use. It is recommended to inject the drug after the act of defecation and hygiene of the anus (anus).

In the form of an ointment, the drug should be applied 2 times a day. For early relief of symptoms of the disease on the first day, it is possible to increase the frequency of use up to 4 times.

In the form of suppositories, the drug is prescribed for 1 pc. Once a day, on the first day with severe forms of the disease, the frequency of use may be increased up to 2-3 times.

Improvement usually occurs quickly, but treatment is recommended to continue for at least 1 week, even if the symptoms of the disease have disappeared. In this case, it is possible to reduce the number of applications of the ointment to 1 time per day, suppositories - to 1 pc. in one day.

Recommendations for the use of Ultraproct ointment:

  • lubrication: squeeze out a small amount (about the size of a pea), lubricate the area around the anus and inside the anal ring. To overcome the sphincter resistance, the ointment must be applied with the tip of the finger;
  • introduction into the rectum: screw the applicator supplied in the kit onto the tube, insert it into the anus and squeeze the required amount of the drug into the rectum, slightly pressing on the tube.

Suppositories can soften when exposed to heat. In this case, without removing the packaging, they should be briefly placed in a container with cold water, and they will return to their previous shape.

With severe inflammation, which are manifested by soreness of hemorrhoids, it is recommended to start treatment with an ointment. The protruding nodes must be abundantly lubricated with the drug and carefully set back with your finger.
