Tayled is a drug with anti-asthmatic, anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - metered dose aerosol for inhalation (in vials of 56 and 112 doses, 1 vial in a cardboard box).

Active ingredient: nedocromil sodium, its content is 2 mg in 1 dose.

Indications for use

Tiled is used for the following diseases of the respiratory tract, which are accompanied by reversible obstruction:

  • bronchospastic reactions caused by stimuli such as cold air, atmospheric pollution, inhaled allergens;
  • asthmatic bronchitis;
  • bronchial asthma of various origins;
  • exercise asthma.

Contraindications

  • children under 12 years old;
  • hypersensitivity to the drug.

Method of administration and dosage

Tiled is used by inhalation.

Adolescents over 12 years old and adults, including the elderly, are prescribed 2 inhalations (4 mg nedocromil sodium) 4 times a day at the beginning of treatment. If necessary, the daily dose is increased to 24–32 mg: 2 inhalations 6–8 times a day.

For exercise asthma, an additional dose may be taken just before exercise.

After it is possible to achieve adequate control over the symptoms of the disease, the frequency of inhalation can be reduced to 2 times a day.

The duration of treatment is determined individually, the therapeutic effect of the drug develops after about 7 days of therapy.

Side effects

  • from the central nervous system: headache;
  • from the respiratory system: cough, bronchospasm;
  • from the digestive system: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and other dyspeptic disorders.

Tiled is not intended to relieve an acute attack of suffocation. This is a drug that must be used daily.

Drug interactions

Nedocromil sodium is compatible with ipratropium bromide, theophylline and other methylxanthine derivatives, corticosteroid agents, inhaled and oral forms of beta-adrenergic receptor stimulants.

Terms and conditions of storage

Store in a dark place, out of reach of children, at temperatures up to 30 ° C. Avoid freezing.

The shelf life is 3 years.
