Alder multifruit is an astringent phytopreparation used for colitis.
Release form and composition
- shredded vegetable raw materials: pieces of scales, stalks, stems of various shapes and nuts, passing through a sieve with holes of 10 mm, from light to dark brown, with a faint odor (30, 35, 50, 75 or 100 g in a cardboard box with an inner bag made of paper, polypropylene or polyethylene);
- raw material vegetable powder: a mixture of various shapes of pieces of stem axes, scales, stalks and nuts of dark brown color with red-brown, yellow-brown and almost black blotches, having a faint odor (1.5 g in a filter bag, 10 or 20 filter bags in a cardboard box).
The aqueous extract has an astringent taste.
Composition of the preparation: compound fruits of gray alder and sticky alder (contain flavonoids, tannins and other biologically active substances).

Indications for use
The drug is recommended for use in acute and chronic forms of enteritis and colitis as an astringent.

Instructions for the use of Alder seed fruits: method and dosage
The decoction and infusion prepared from the preparation of Alder fruit are taken orally.
Shredded vegetable raw materials
To prepare the broth, it is recommended to place 2 tablespoons of crushed raw materials (about 10 g of stems) in an enamel / glass dish, pour 1 glass (200 ml) of chilled boiled water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath for about half an hour. Then, without cooling the agent, you need to strain and squeeze out the remaining raw materials. It is required to add boiled water to the prepared broth until a volume of 200 ml is obtained. It should be taken 3 times a day, half an hour before meals, 2 tablespoons. The course of treatment is 20-25 days.
Raw vegetable powder
- Method 1: To prepare the infusion, it is recommended to place 1 filter bag (1.5 g) in an enamel / glass container. Fill a bag of ½ cup (100 ml) boiling water, cover the dishes with a lid and leave for half an hour, from time to time pressing the bag with a spoon, and then squeeze. The ready-made infusion should be taken 3 times a day, half an hour before meals, ¼ cup;
- 2nd method: to prepare the infusion, it is recommended to place 2 filter bags (3 g) in an enamel / glass container. Fill the bags with ½ cup (100 ml) boiling water, cover the dishes with a lid and leave for half an hour, from time to time pressing the bags with a spoon, and then squeeze. The ready-made infusion should be taken 3 times a day, half an hour before meals, 2 tablespoons.
The course of treatment is 14–21 days.
