Menovazine is a combined agent that, thanks to the menthol, benosocaine and procaine included in the composition, has a local anesthetic effect.
Procaine (novocaine) is a substance with a moderate anesthetic effect that blocks sodium channels, preventing the occurrence of impulses in sensitive nerve endings.
Benzocaine is an agent that is used for superficial anesthesia and, like procaine, prevents the occurrence of pain impulses in nerve fibers and sensitive nerve endings.
Menthol irritates nerve endings when applied to the skin, dilates superficial vessels, enhances the analgesic effect of benzocaine and procaine, creates a feeling of coolness, relieves itching.
When used externally, Menovazin does not enter the systemic circulation.
Release form
Release Menovazin solution and Menovazin ointment. The products contain one gram of benzocaine and procaine, 2.5 g of menthol.
The Menovazin solution contains 70% ethyl alcohol.
Indications for the use of Menovazin
According to the instructions, Menovazin is used as a local anesthetic for myalgia (muscle pain), neuralgia (pain associated with nerve damage), arthralgia (joint pain). The use of Menovazin is also effective for itchy skin dermatoses - as an antipruritic agent.
Contraindications to the use of Menovazin
It is undesirable to apply an ointment or solution to damaged skin (injured, burned, dermatitis, eczema, etc.) and skin where there is inflammation in the area to be treated.
Menovazine is contraindicated in pregnancy. To eliminate joint pain, back pain, it is better to use paracetamol instead of Menovazin during pregnancy.
The drug is prescribed with caution to lactating women, children under 18 years of age. The means does not affect the speed of psychomotor reactions, concentration of attention.
Instructions for the use of Menovazin
The Menovazin solution and ointment are used only externally. The product should be applied to the skin over the affected area and rubbed. For greater efficiency, the ointment or solution is applied two, three times / day and the procedures are continued until a clear improvement in the condition.
The use of Menovazin for more than 3-4 weeks is not recommended. After a while, if necessary, the therapeutic course can be repeated.

Side effects of Menovazin
