special instructions
Before prescribing Lansoprazole Stad, the presence of a malignant process in the upper gastrointestinal tract should be excluded, since the drug can mask its symptoms, thereby complicating timely diagnosis.
Drug interactions
When interacting with other medicinal products, lansoprazole:
- Slows down the excretion of drugs that are metabolized by microsomal oxidation in the liver, including indirect anticoagulants, phenytoin and diazepam;
- Reduces the theophylline clearance by 10%;
- Changes the pH-dependent absorption of drugs from the groups of weak acids (slows down) and bases (speeds up).
Antacids slow down and reduce the absorption of lansoprazole (if it is necessary to use such a combination, they are taken no later than 1 hour before taking Lansoprazole Stad or after 1-2 hours).
Sucralfate reduces the bioavailability of lansoprazole by 30%, for this reason, 30-minute intervals must be observed between doses of these drugs.
