Daflon is a medicine for the symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids and chronic venous diseases.
Pharmacological action of Daflon
Daflon's active ingredients undergo a high-tech grinding process that increases their bioavailability and clinical efficacy.
The advantage of Daflon in comparison with other medicines used for venous diseases is its complex effect:
- The active components of Daflon have a vasoconstrictor effect on the vein walls and contribute to an increase in venous tone, and, consequently, a decrease in venous extensibility. This increases the venous return and reduces the venous congestion that occurs with chronic venous disease. In addition, according to the latest research, the active components of Daflon protect the venous valves from inflammation and destruction, which is the prevention of further progression of chronic venous disease;
- Daflon significantly improves lymphatic drainage, and also increases the total number of functional lymphatic capillaries;
- The active components that make up Daflon tablets improve microcirculation, reducing the migration and activation of leukocytes at the capillary level, which leads to a decrease in the release of inflammatory mediators in the form of free radicals.
Against the background of chronic venous disease, Daflon, according to the instructions, relieves the severity of most of the symptoms of the disease, which manifest themselves in the form of pain, heaviness in the legs, cramps and edema. Symptom relief can significantly improve the quality of life in chronic venous disease.
In addition, according to the studies carried out, Daflon tablets are effective in acute hemorrhoidal attacks. At the same time, relief of symptoms (pain, bleeding and discharge) is observed from the second day of treatment, which reduces the use of pain medications. Also, the use of Daflon, according to reviews, reduces the risk of postoperative bleeding and reduces the healing time in the postoperative period.
