Amol is an antiseptic.
Pharmacological action of Amol
Amol is a herbal preparation that tends to increase the body's resistance, which has a disinfecting, anti-inflammatory, local irritant, analgesic effect.
Amol contains vitamin C, menthol, clove, cinnamon, mint, lavender, lemon oil, citranella oil. In addition, the alcoholic solution additionally contains Indian lemon balm.
It is noticed that the medicine effectively relieves sore throat, eliminates the symptoms of colds and pain that occurs with joint diseases.
Release form
Amol is released in lozenges for resorption, in the form of an alcohol solution for grinding and ingestion.
Indications for use
Amol pastilles are prescribed for various colds accompanied by a runny nose, cough, bronchitis, nasal congestion, hoarseness, and sore throat.
According to the instructions, Amol solution is indicated for use in case of heaviness in the stomach, asthenia, cardialgia, dizziness, circulatory disorders arising from diseases of the nervous system, with colds, migraines, malaise.
Local rubbing with an alcoholic solution of Amol relieves pain in myalgia, sciatica, neuralgia, arthralgia, rheumatism, headaches.
Method of using Amol
It is recommended to dissolve the lozenges during a cold, as needed (symptoms appear). A single dose of Amol is one lozenge.
Inside the drug, take 10-15 drops, dissolving in 100 ml of water, tea. You can put the solution on the sugar cube.
Symptoms of a cold are well relieved by Amol vapors, for which they make hot inhalations with a solution: for 250 ml of hot water there is one teaspoon of medicine.
When applied externally, it is advisable to dilute Amol with water: 1: 3. With a diluted solution, rub the affected areas or apply a bandage.
Side effects
People who are sensitive to the components of the medicine may aggravate the course of a cold, develop bronchospasm, and allergic reactions may occur.
Contraindications to the use of Amol
Do not give lozenges to children under 4 years of age and older (if the child cannot eat the lozenge on their own). In addition, according to the instructions, Amol is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to it.
Newborn children should not be bandaged with Amol on the face, especially in the area of the nose, the solution should not be allowed to get into the eyes.
