Glycifon, instructions for use: method and dosage
Ointment Glycifon is intended for external use.
Before applying the drug, the skin in the growth zone of keratosis or neoplasms is lubricated with a swab moistened with alcohol. After that, depending on the size of the focus, from 0.8 to 2 g of ointment is applied under a gauze napkin, fixed with a plaster. The lesion and the surrounding skin are wiped with alcohol at each dressing, and the necrotic tissue is removed. The drug is applied once a day (up to 24 hours) until the tumor tissue is completely destroyed.
The duration of therapy is set on an individual basis, depending on the size of the lesion and its location.
The number of applications, depending on the pathology, is:
- recurrent tumors, small-nodular forms of basaliomas in the nose and forehead: from 15 to 20;
- Bowen's disease, superficial basal cell carcinomas, ulcerative forms: from 10 to 15;
- senile keratoses: 5 to 10.
After the end of therapy, it is recommended to daily apply aseptic dressings with regenerating agents to the formed defect (until complete scarring).
