Aekol is a combined topical vitamin preparation used for wound healing, which has anti-burn and metabolic effects.
Pharmacological action Aekola
The effect of tissue regeneration is achieved due to the pharmacological properties of Aekol's components - vitamin A (retinol palmitate), vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate), beta-carotene, menadione.
Vitamins A, E have a beneficial effect on tissue trophism, in particular, retinol, regulates cellular metabolism, promotes tissue rejuvenation, and increases cellular immunity.
Beta-carotene, in addition to an important immunostimulating property, is also involved in regeneration processes in epithelial tissues, and is able to increase their resistance to infections.
Menadione, which is a synthetic analogue of vitamin K, normalizes blood coagulation.
Aekola release form
According to the instructions, Aekol is released in oily form, as a solution for external use, usually in 100 ml bottles, made of dark yellow glass.
Indications and methods of application of Aekola
The use of Aekola is practiced externally in such cases:
1. In proctology - as microclysters, tampons, dressings with Aekol for healing cracks in the rectal mucosa, for the treatment of hemorrhoids. Usually, as indicated in Aekol's instructions, a course is prescribed for 10-12 days, 30-50 ml of the vitamin complex.
2. In gynecology - in the form of tampons moistened with Aekol for the treatment of erosion of the uterine cervix, endocervicitis, colpitis. The procedures are prescribed by the attending physician, and according to Aekola's instructions, their number ranges from one to 15.
3. In surgery - in the form of bandages for the healing of infected wounds of the skin, varicose and trophic ulcers;
4. For the treatment of stage II and III burns that have been infected;
5. After operations to restore the skin by transplanting healthy tissues of the patient (autodermoplasty);
6. For elimination and healing of pressure sores;
7. For the treatment of scleroderma (lesion of small vessels of an inflammatory nature with external manifestations).
When applied externally, following the instructions of Aekola, dressings are applied to the affected areas at intervals of one day, until the restoration of the mucous membrane or skin becomes noticeable, and until connective tissue forms at the site of damage.
The vitamin complex Aekol is also used in cosmetology: Aekol is widely used for hair in the form of applications or as one of the components of cosmetic masks, mainly for dry hair. You can lubricate the ends of the hair with Aekol, you can combine it with henna, oil, for example, and apply it to the hair, distributing it to its entire length. The positive effect of using Aekola for hair is provided by the regenerating properties of A, E vitamins.
Side effects after using Aekol
Local allergic reactions, rarely diarrhea.
Contraindications
No serious contraindications were found, only an individual intolerance to the vitamin complex.
It is recommended before use, especially at home (when using Aekola for hair), to conduct a standard allergy test: apply a little product on the wrist or the bend of the elbow and observe for 24 hours. The absence of any skin manifestations (redness, peeling, itching) may indicate that there are no contraindications to the use of Aekol. It is safer to carry out such tests under the supervision of a doctor, and strictly follow Aekol's instructions.
There are no contraindications for the use of Aekol during pregnancy, but this should be done strictly as directed by the observing doctor, and after excluding Aekol's intolerance.
