Ecoflor is a black, small granules that are tasteless and odorless. The granules are practically insoluble in water.
The granules contain:
- lactobacilli - 108 CFU / g;
- bifidobacteria - 108 CFU / g.

According to the instructions, Ecoflor is a new generation probiotic, which includes a consortium of live antagonistically active strains of lacto- and bifidobacteria immobilized on the carbon-mineral enterosorbent SUMS-1, which protects bacteria when they pass through the acidic environment of the stomach.
In medicine, SUMS-1 is used to relieve intoxication of the body. Also, with its help, salts of heavy metals and various toxins are removed from the intestines.
Enterosorbent SUMS-1 has a high bactericidal activity and does not absorb hormones, enzymes, hydrogen sulfide and transport proteins necessary for peristalsis in the intestine. Does not remove ions from the body, without which it is impossible to maintain hemostasis. Method of application of Ecoflora and dosage regimen
Ecoflor is taken ten minutes before meals, mixing it with a little water. It is allowed to mix the drug in a small portion of jelly instead of water, in order to facilitate the intake.
According to indications, the drug can be prescribed regardless of meals. The recommended duration of therapy is up to two weeks.
Dosages of the drug Ekoflor:
- at the age of three to five years - 3 g per dose twice a day;
- at the age of five to ten years - 5 g per dose twice a day;
- at the age of ten years - 5 g per dose, two to three times a day.
Contraindications
The drug is contraindicated under the age of three years, as well as in case of individual intolerance. It is also not recommended to take the drug in case of peptic ulcer diseases in the acute stage.
Storage conditions
Ecoflor is stored at cold temperatures (from -2 to +4 degrees) for no longer than 12 months.
