Release form and composition
Helinorm is available in the form of capsules weighing 202 mg and 324 mg (14 pcs. In blisters; 202 mg - in a cardboard box 1 blister, 324 mg - in a cardboard box 1 or 2 blisters).
1 capsule contains:
- active substance: Pylopass - inactivated bacteria of the probiotic strain Lactobacillus reuteri - 200 mg or 300 mg;
- auxiliary components: corn dextrin (carrier), aerosil (anti-caking agent), gelatin.
Pharmacological properties
Helinorm is a dietary supplement designed to fight the pathogenic bacteria Helicobacter pylori (Helicobacter pylori).
Helicobacter pylori is a pathogenic bacterium that lives in the human stomach. It is able to survive for a long time in an extremely acidic gastric environment and colonize its mucous membrane. Infection with this bacterium can cause inflammation of the lining of the stomach and duodenum. The absence of obvious symptoms of infection complicates the timely diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori. Often this leads to the development of gastric and duodenal ulcers, duodenitis, gastritis, and stomach cancer.
Pylopass is a special strain of lactobacilli with a specific anti-Helicobacter effect. These probiotics are distinguished by the ability to recognize the surface receptors of the cell wall of Helicobacter pylori and bind to them. The formed coaggregates are excreted from the body through the gastrointestinal tract in a natural way, reducing the level of Helicobacter pylori and, consequently, the risk of bacterial infection in the stomach and duodenum.
