Acipol is a probiotic drug for the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
Release form and composition
Release form - capsules filled with a mixture of crushed kefir fungi (including a water-soluble polysaccharide), inactivated by heating, lyophilized in a culture medium, and a microbial mass of antagonistically active live acidophilic lactobacilli. The mixture is a dry biomass, color from cream to light cream, characteristic fermented milk smell (20 or 30 pcs. In polymer cans, 1 can in a cardboard box).
Content of one capsule:
- Live acidophilic lactobacilli - not less than 10 7;
- Kefir fungus polysaccharide - 0.4 mg.
The capsule shell consists of gelatin, red iron oxide, titanium dioxide.
Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
The kefir fungus contains special polysaccharides, the presence of which creates unfavorable conditions for the vital activity of pathogenic microorganisms, therefore the effect of the drug is close to that of antibiotics. In addition, Acipol accelerates the body's immune response.
Lactobacilli lower the overall pH of the environment, promote the binding of ammonia with hydrogen (the reaction takes place mainly in an acidic environment) and its excretion from the body with feces.
Acipol normalizes the processes of synthesis and absorption of important bioactive substances and vitamins in the intestines, promotes normal digestion of food, provides good peristalsis and intestinal motility.
Pharmacokinetics
The pharmacokinetics of Acipol have not been studied.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, Acipol is recommended for adults and children for therapy in the following cases:
