Radevit is a dermatoprotective agent with anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action.

Release form and composition

The drug is produced in the form of an ointment for external use: homogeneous, from white to pale yellow (10, 20 or 35 g in a tube, in a cardboard box 1 tube and instructions for use of Radevit).

1 g of ointment contains:

  • active ingredients: ergocalciferol (vitamin D 2) - 0.05 mg, alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) - 5 mg, retinol palmitate (vitamin A) - 10 mg;
  • additional components: butylhydroxyanisole, butylhydroxytoluene, glycerol (glycerin), vaseline oil, emulsion wax, ethanol (ethyl alcohol 95%), purified water.

The drug has reparative, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effects, increases the protective function of the skin, helps to normalize the processes of keratinization (the effect is due to the properties of the corresponding vitamins included in the drug), and also activates the regeneration processes.

Indications for use

Radevit ointment is recommended for use in children and adults as part of the complex therapy of the following diseases:

  • ichthyosis, ichthyosiform dermatoses;
  • seborrheic dermatitis;
  • cracks, erosion;
  • eczema;
  • uninfected wounds and ulcers;
  • allergic contact dermatitis (with the exception of the exacerbation stage);
  • atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis;
  • psoriasis;
  • allergic and inflammatory skin lesions of a chronic nature (during the period of remission in order to prevent relapse).

The ointment is also indicated for use after the completion of therapy with preparations containing glucocorticosteroids (GCS) for external use (in the subacute period), in the presence of easily irritated skin (including those with increased sensitivity to cosmetics), with dry skin and for prevention aging skin.

Contraindications

  • taking retinoids;
  • acute inflammatory skin diseases;
  • hypervitaminosis A, E, D;
  • pregnancy;
  • hypersensitivity to the components of the dermatoprotective agent.

Radevit ointment is used externally.

The tool is recommended to be applied to the affected area of the skin with a thin layer 2 times a day. In case of severe peeling of the skin, an occlusive dressing can be used.
