Cystenium is a biologically active food supplement (BAA), a source of arbutin, gallic acid (polyphenolic compounds), proanthocyanidins and vitamin C.

Cystenium is available in powder form [5 g in sachets (sticks); 14 sachets (sticks) in a cardboard box].

• cranberry extract: the main active substances are proanthocyanidins, they provide cranberries with a red color and prevent the attachment of pathogens to the walls of the bladder, depriving them of a nutrient medium, suppressing vital activity and reproduction, accelerating excretion from the body;
• bearberry leaf extract (bear's ear): enriches the product with polyphenolic substances (gallic acid), which contribute to the rapid restoration of epithelial cells of the urinary bladder and reduce the effects of inflammatory processes. Arbutin, which is a part of bearberry, potentiating the elimination of harmful substances and bacteria from the body, prevents their reproduction in the bladder, prevents re-infection of the urinary tract;
• ascorbic acid: helps to increase the body's resistance to infections, healing and regeneration of the epithelium of the bladder. The creation of an acidic environment inhibits the vital activity of pathogenic bacteria. Ascorbic acid neutralizes free radicals that accompany inflammation in an increased amount.

According to studies, the immunity (resistance) of bacteria to antimicrobial drugs used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections reaches 30-60%. It develops as a result of prolonged and / or uncontrolled use of antibiotics.
