Method of using Trisol
In accordance with the instructions, Trisol should be administered intravenously (drip at a rate of 40-120 drops per minute or jet) under the control of laboratory studies of hemodynamic parameters. Before use, Trisol must be warmed up to a temperature of 36-38 ° C.
In the treatment of hypovolemic infectious-toxic shock, inadequate perfusion, decompensated metabolic acidosis and anuria, the drug is started to be injected in a stream, followed by a transition to drip (from 40 to 120 drops per minute). In cases of intoxication, dehydration, metabolic acidosis and oliguria, Trisol can be administered by drip. When carrying out dehydration therapy, the agent is injected in a stream for a period of 1 to 3 hours.
In the first hour, the solution is used in an amount equal to 7-10% of the patient's body weight. After that, the jet injection, as a rule, is replaced by a drip one for 1-2 days. The drug is used in a volume corresponding to the amount of lost fluid, the balance of which is determined every 6 hours.
With the development of hyperkalemia, the drug must be replaced with sodium acetate solution until the electrolyte balance is normalized.
If Trisol is to be administered to children, the dose should be 3-10 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight per day. During pregnancy, the solution is administered according to vital signs under the supervision of a physician.
