Reviews about Silibinin
According to most reviews, Silibinin is an effective herbal preparation used to treat diseases of the hepatobiliary system. The use of the drug as part of complex therapy is effective in the treatment of toxic liver damage, chronic hepatitis, and cirrhosis of the liver. The drug is successfully used to protect the liver in case of chronic intoxication, drug and ethanol poisoning.
At the same time, some patients note that, against the background of serious violations of hepatic function, a tangible result from therapy was not achieved. The positive effect of the phytopreparation was observed only in diseases of mild severity and a slight increase in liver function tests. Moreover, the course of treatment was quite long (up to 3 months) and silibinin was taken in high doses. In any case, the attending physician should prescribe the drug, set the duration of treatment and the dosage. There are no complaints about the development of side effects.
