Retinorm is a biologically active food supplement, its combined composition compensates for the deficiency of nutrients that are not synthesized in the body. The active components of the dietary supplement help to normalize metabolic processes in the tissues of the eye, reduce the risk of developing age-related changes in the retina.
The protection of the eye from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation depends on the degree of density of the central part of the retina (macula or macula). Lutein and zeaxanthin (plant-derived carotenoids) have strong antioxidant properties. By accumulating in the macula, they block the action of free radicals and protect the eye from damage.
Vitamins C and E are the most common antioxidants that enhance their action when combined and protect the eye tissue from environmental stress. They have a neuroprotective effect. Their participation in the processes of cell metabolism, including tissue respiration, helps to strengthen the eye muscles and ligaments, increase the elasticity and strengthen the walls of blood vessels (including the vessels of the fundus), and restore visual pigments responsible for the perception of light and color.
Copper, zinc and selenium are the main trace elements necessary to maintain the functional state of the optic nerves. They have an antioxidant effect, improve the nutrition of the fundus. Deficiency of these microelements causes increased eye fatigue, can lead to visual impairment and the development of optic nerve dystrophy.
Indications for use
The use of Retinorm is shown as a food supplement for additional intake of lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, copper, selenium, vitamins C and E.
In addition, as vitamins for the eyes, Retinorm is recommended to be used in order to restore metabolic processes in the tissues of the eyes and improve the functional state of the retina, the violation of which is due to the following factors:
- visual fatigue caused by working at a computer, reading, driving a car, activities in low lighting conditions;
