Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

Remens is a complex homeopathic remedy. It normalizes the female menstrual cycle, reduces the manifestations of dysmenorrhea, regulates the intensity of menstrual bleeding and the overall balance of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary system. During treatment with the drug, the manifestations of premenstrual syndrome (irritability, tearfulness, emotional lability, depression, aggressiveness) are weakened, edematous syndrome decreases.

In the climacteric period, the drug reduces psychoemotional manifestations (touchiness, tearfulness, emotional lability, aggression, sleep disturbances, depression), as well as vegetative manifestations (heart attacks, hot flashes, fluctuations in blood pressure, excessive sweating, cardialgia) and metabolic disorders (reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, normalizes fat metabolism and prevents weight gain). Remens improves microcirculation in the pelvic organs and has an anti-inflammatory effect on the endometrium and ovarian tissue.

Pharmacokinetics

The therapeutic effects of the drug are due to the combined action of all its components, therefore, the study of pharmacokinetics is not possible. It is not possible to trace active ingredients using bio-research and markers. For the same reason, it is difficult to trace drug metabolites.

If no improvement is observed within 30 days of treatment, you should consult a specialist.

It should be borne in mind that ethanol is included as an additional component in the drops (the average single dose (10 drops) is 160 mg).

Reviews about Remens

Women who have used the drug for menstrual irregularities, menopause and premenstrual syndrome, as a rule, leave positive reviews about Remens. The reports talk about relief of unwanted symptoms and significant improvement in the condition. In this case, the result of treatment does not depend on the form of release of the drug: drops and tablets produce a similar therapeutic effect.

The doctors' comments are not so optimistic, since studies on laboratory animals have shown that Remens can cause cancer. For this reason, the drug is prohibited in some countries, such as Germany.
