Multimax is a multivitamin medicine with herbal ingredients, micro and macro elements.
Release form and composition
The dosage form of Multimax is film-coated tablets (in blisters of 10, 15, 20 or 30 pcs., 1-3 packs in a cardboard box; in polyethylene bottles of 20, 30, 40, 60 or 100 pcs., 1 bottle in a cardboard box).
Active ingredients in 1 tablet:
- Retinol acetate - 1 mg;
- Tocopherol acetate - 10 mg;
- Colecalciferol - 0.005 mg;
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride - 2 mg;
- Biotin - 0.01 mg;
- Folic acid - 0.4 mg;
- Ascorbic acid - 60 mg;
- Nicotinamide - 20 mg;
- Thiamine - 1.5 mg;
- Riboflavin - 1.7 mg;
- Cyanocobalamin - 0.006 mg;
- Calcium pantothenate - 10 mg;
- Lutein (pigment, group of oxygen-containing carotenoids) - 0.125 mg;
- Chlorides (hydrochloric acid salts) - 20 mg;
- Potassium (K) - 20 mg;
- Calcium (Ca) - 35.5 mg;
- Magnesium (Mg) - 10 mg;

Auxiliary components: stearic acid, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E 464), microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide (E 171), croscarmellose sodium, triacetin, dye (E 110), propylene glycol.
Indications for use
- Hypovitaminosis, lack of micro- and macroelements in the body (for prevention);
- Mental, visual and physical activity, sports and the associated increased need for vitamins and minerals;
- Eating disorders (defective, unbalanced);
- Age-related eye diseases, including retinal degeneration, cataracts (for prevention);
- The recovery period after illnesses.
Contraindications
- Age under 12;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Method of administration and dosage
Multimax is taken orally, preferably after a meal.
The daily dose for all age groups of patients is 1 tablet.
Side effects
Taking Multimax can cause allergic reactions to the components that make up the drug.
Non-hazardous side effects (components causing them):
- Riboflavin: intense yellow staining of urine;
- Iron: staining the stool dark.

Drug interactions
The combined use of Multimax with vitamins A, E and D, including medicines containing them, is not recommended (overdose is possible).
