Release form and composition

Composition of 1 capsule:
- active substance: lactase enzyme - not less than 700 units;
- auxiliary components: hard gelatin capsules, maltodextrin.
Pharmacological properties
The enzyme lactase breaks down the lactose disaccharide supplied with food (usually in milk and dairy products) and ensures its absorption.
Deficiency of this enzyme can be congenital (primary lactase deficiency) or acquired (secondary lactase deficiency), which occurs against the background of atrophic, immune, infectious and inflammatory changes in the intestine. In the case of a lack of lactase when eating foods containing lactose, symptoms of digestive disorders appear, such as flatulence, intestinal cramps, diarrhea.

According to the instructions, Lactazar for children is recommended as a dietary supplement - an additional source of the enzyme lactase. Symptoms of its deficiency are: increased gas production, colic, unstable stools (diarrhea, constipation).
BAA is used for congenital lactase deficiency (treatment begins from the first days of life), in children of the first year of life with infant colic, in children during or after intestinal disorders.
Contraindications
Lactazar for children is contraindicated only in case of individual intolerance to its components.
Instructions for the use of Lactazar for children: method and dosage
The supplement must be given to the child in every milk feed, adding the contents of the capsule to a warm (up to + 37 ° C) drink.
One capsule is designed for 100 ml of milk or formula.
For children under 1 year of age who are breastfed and mixed, add the contents of the capsule to water or expressed milk (at least 5 ml), mix until the powder is completely dissolved and give the child from a spoon or bottle, after which they are fed to the required amount.
For children under the age of 1 year, who are bottle-fed, the contents of the capsule are added to the finished milk mixture, mixed, and after a few minutes feeding begins.
For children 1–5 years old, the contents of the capsule are added to milk or milk dishes.
Children 5–7 years old can add the contents of the capsule to milk or milk dishes, or take the capsules whole by mouth.
Children under the age of 5 are allowed to give only the contents of the capsules!
