Indications for use

External use Methylene blue is effective for pyoderma, burns, folliculitis, and other skin diseases.

For washing with cystitis, urethritis, an aqueous 0.02% solution is used (the powder is diluted in a ratio of 1: 5000)

Side effects

Methylene blue can cause: damage to the tissues of the bladder, kidneys, epigastric pain, vomiting, nausea, anemia, allergic skin reactions (when applied externally).

The risk of developing side effects increases when treating a large area of the skin.
