Iberogast is a herbal remedy with anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and tonic effect on the organs of the gastrointestinal tract.
pharmachologic effect
Iberogast is a complex of medicinal plants that normalizes the tone of smooth muscles of the digestive system, but does not significantly affect intestinal motility. It has anti-inflammatory, prokinetic, antispasmodic, carminative, antioxidant and tonic effects.
Due to a decrease in the secretion of hydrochloric acid by the cells of the stomach and an increase in the concentration of biologically active substances - prostaglandins and mucin, the drug completely protects the inner lining of the stomach. Iberogast lowers intestinal sensitivity and regulates peristalsis.
