Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

DioridinVel contains a combination of hesperidin with diosmin, which has a venotonic and angioprotective effect.

The drug improves the parameters of venous hemodynamics, increases resistance and lowers capillary permeability, reduces venous distensibility and venous congestion. During its application, changes in such venous plethysmographic parameters as venous emptying time, venous extensibility and venous capacity are noted.

Achievement of the optimal therapeutic effect is observed when taking 1000 mg of the drug.

By reducing the time of venous emptying, the combination of hesperidin + diosmin increases venous tone. In the presence of signs of a pronounced violation of microcirculation, an increase in capillary resistance is observed. This combination is effective in the treatment of chronic pathologies of the veins of the lower extremities and hemorrhoids.

Pharmacokinetics

The drug is mainly excreted through the intestines. Through the kidneys, on average, approximately 14% of the taken dose of the drug is excreted. Its half-life is 11 hours.

DioridinVel undergoes active metabolism, as indicated by the presence of phenolic acids in urine.

Indications for use

  • leg fatigue, pain, a feeling of fullness and heaviness in the lower extremities, leg cramps (treatment of symptoms of venous lymphatic insufficiency);
  • venous trophic ulcers, trophic changes in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, edema of the legs (treatment of manifestations of venous-lymphatic insufficiency);
  • acute and chronic hemorrhoids (symptomatic treatment).

special instructions

Before starting therapy with DioridinVel, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Patients in whom, after the recommended treatment period, the manifestations of pathology do not disappear, it is necessary to undergo a proctological examination. In this case, the tactics of treatment should be reviewed.

Achieving the maximum therapeutic effect in case of venous circulation disorders is ensured by combining DioridinVel treatment with a balanced (healthy) lifestyle. It is important for patients not to allow prolonged stay on their feet, refrain from long exposure to the sun, and in the presence of excess body weight - to reduce it. Walking is recommended, and in some cases, wearing special stockings that help improve blood circulation.

In the absence of a therapeutic effect or worsening of the condition, the patient should immediately consult a doctor.
