Diclosan Forte is a series of drugs that improve metabolism, correct the metabolism of cartilage and bone tissue and restore joint mobility.
Release form and composition
Diclosan Forte is available in the following dosage forms:
- Tablets (20 pcs. In contour packs, 2 packs in a cardboard box);
- Capsules (12 pcs. In contour packs, 3 packs in a cardboard box);
- Gel (75 ml in laminated tubes, 1 tube in a cardboard box);
- Cream (75 ml in laminated tubes, 1 tube in a cardboard box; 50 g in a jar).
The active substances of Diclosan forte, depending on the form of release:
- Tablets: bioflavonoid fraction of white willow and dandelion root;
- Capsules: extracts of dandelion root, willow bark, saber root, rutin;
- Gel: extracts of red pepper, cinquefoil and hops, D-Panthenol, essential oils of lavender, rosemary and wormwood, vitamin B 3;
- Cream: glucosamine, fragrant martinia, white willow bark, meadowsweet and yarrow extracts, tea tree and rosemary essential oils, olive oil, beeswax.
Auxiliary components:
- Tablets: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearic acid, starch;
- Capsules: Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium Stearate.
Indications for use
Indications for the use of Diclosan Forte (depending on the form of release):
- Tablets and capsules: normalization of metabolism in arthritis, arthrosis, osteochondrosis of various origins;
- Gel: warming up tissues, improving metabolism, reducing puffiness, relieving muscle spasms, restoring muscles after physical exertion;
- Cream: enhances blood circulation and supplies the joints through the skin with nutrients that have a natural anti-inflammatory effect.
Given the direct effect of the components of Diclosan Forte on the cause of chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the drug is also recommended to be used for prophylactic purposes at the age of 25-30 years and older (to eliminate metabolic disorders in the joints).
Contraindications
For all forms of release, a contraindication to the use of Diclosan Forte is individual hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
Additional contraindications for tablets and capsules:
- Pregnancy;
- Lactation period (breastfeeding must be stopped for the duration of treatment);
- Children's age (up to 12 years old - tablets; up to 14 years old - capsules).
Method of administration and dosage
Tablets and capsules are taken orally, with meals, with a small amount of water.
The gel and cream are applied to intact areas of previously cleansed and dry skin.
Recommended dosage regimen:
- Tablets: 1 pc. 2-3 times a day. Duration of 1 course - 4-8 weeks; the duration of therapy, depending on the duration and severity of the disease, varies from 1 to 5 courses (breaks between courses - 2-4 weeks); for the purpose of prophylaxis, the tablets are recommended to be used in courses of 4 weeks, with intervals of 6-8 weeks;
- Capsules: 1 pc. 1 time per day, duration of use is at least 2 months;
- Gel: applied to the skin with gentle movements, in a thin layer, the place of application is massaged until the gel is completely absorbed; it is applied 2-3 times a day for 3-5 days, a break of 2-3 days, the course of treatment is 1 month; after a break, it is recommended to repeat the course;
- Cream: apply with gentle movements, massage the place of application until the cream is completely absorbed; it is applied 2-3 times a day, the course of treatment is 1 month; after a break, in order to increase efficiency, a repeated course is recommended.
