Pharmacological properties
Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex is a dietary supplement that regulates metabolism in cartilage tissue.
The active ingredients of the biologically active additive - glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate - are natural ingredients that have a pronounced chondroprotective effect: they improve the metabolism of cartilage and slow down its destruction.
Glucosamine contributes to the normal deposition of calcium in bone tissue, is a participant in the biosynthesis of proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid, which are necessary for collagen synthesis and the formation of articular cartilage.
Chondroitin sulfate is a high molecular weight polysaccharide, which is found in large quantities in connective tissue, especially cartilage. Due to the viscosity and characteristics of the chemical structure, this substance plays the role of a lubricant of the articular surfaces, prevents the compression of connective tissue.
The combination of Glucosamine + Chondroitin Sulfate provides nutritional support to connective tissue and joints, prevents cartilage breakdown and regenerates. Participates in the formation of connective tissue, bones and ligaments. It has anti-inflammatory properties.
The effectiveness of the combination glucosamine + chondroitin sulfate has been proven in clinical trials conducted at the Center for Vertebral Neurology, St. Petersburg State Medical Academy. The supplement is recommended to be included in the complex therapy of osteoarthritis, since it significantly reduces pain in the affected joints, reduces stiffness, improves the functional state of the joints and, as a result, the patient's quality of life.

Reviews about Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex
Reviews about Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex are contradictory. Patients who have been helped by the drug describe it as an effective chondroprotector that provides nourishment to joints and bones, and has a mild anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. An additional advantage is the low cost compared to many imported counterparts. As a disadvantage, they point out the need for a very long treatment (from six months) for serious injuries.
In negative statements, the uselessness of this dietary supplement is described due to the low content of active substances and their unbalanced composition, which is necessary for joint health.
