Release form and composition
The drug is produced in the form of coated tablets: brick-red, round, biconvex, in cross-section - two layers (10 pcs. In blisters, 3 or 9 packs in a cardboard box; 30 pcs. In dark glass jars, 1 can in a cardboard box).
The composition of 1 tablet includes:
- Active ingredient: ginkgo biloba (in the form of dry leaf extract) - 40 mg (total content of flavonoids - 24%);
- Auxiliary components: lactose, povidone (polyvinylpyrrolidone), corn starch, magnesium stearate, primogel (sodium carboxymethyl starch), aerosil (colloidal silicon dioxide);
- Sheath: Opadry II.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics
This preparation is a standardized extract of ginkgo biloba, which contains a large amount of biologically active substances and has the following effects on the body:
- strengthens the walls and increases the elasticity of blood vessels;
- improves rheological parameters of blood, supply of tissues and brain with glucose and oxygen;
- has a cerebroprotective effect;
- prevents the formation of free radicals;
- improves microcirculation and metabolic processes in cell structures;
- reduces vascular permeability;
- increases the body's resistance (especially brain tissue) to hypoxia;
- reduces the fibrinolytic activity of the blood;
- suppresses the aggregation of red blood cells;
- prevents fat peroxidation in the membrane;
- expands small arteries and promotes their blood circulation;
- increases the tone of the venous vessels;
- prevents the development of traumatic or toxic cerebral edema.
Indications for use
- Dyscirculatory encephalopathy of various origins (old age, stroke, traumatic brain injury), manifested by disturbances in sleep, intellectual abilities and memory, decreased attention, fear and anxiety;
- Sensorineural disturbances (tinnitus, dizziness, gait instability);
- Raynaud's syndrome, microcirculation and peripheral circulatory disorders (including arteriopathy of the lower extremities).
Contraindications
- Erosive gastritis;
- Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum (with exacerbation);
- Reduced blood clotting;
- Age under 12;
- Pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding);
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
With care: arterial hypotension, acute disorders of cerebral circulation.
Instructions for the use of Ginos: method and dosage
Ginos tablets are taken orally, regardless of the meal. The tablets should be swallowed whole, without chewing, and washed down with a little water.
Multiplicity of admission - 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and evening).
The dosage regimen is determined by the indications:
- Disorders of cerebral circulation: single dose - 1-2 tablets, course duration - at least 2 months;
- Peripheral circulatory disorders and neurosensory disorders: single dose - 1 tablet, course duration - 1.5-2 months.
If necessary, it is possible to prescribe repeated treatment courses.
If an insufficient dose was taken, or a single dose was missed, the prescribed dose of the drug should not be changed in the subsequent administration.
Side effects
- Digestive system: rarely - dyspepsia;
- Central nervous system: rarely - headache;
- Allergic reactions: itching, skin rash is possible;
- Others: decrease in blood clotting.
Overdose
Overdose cases when using the drug have not been registered.

Drinking alcohol while undergoing treatment is not recommended.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
