Viru-Merz serol is an antiviral agent for topical use, active against herpes zoster virus (Varicella zoster), herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2 (Herpes simplex).
Release form and composition
Dosage form - gel for external use 1%: transparent, from colorless to light yellow or light brown (5 g each in aluminum tubes, 1 tube in a cardboard box).
Active ingredient: tromantadine hydrochloride, in 1 g of gel - 10 mg.
Auxiliary components: sorbitol (sorbitol) 70% solution, sorbic acid, purified water, hyetellose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, lactose monohydrate.

Gel Viru-Merz serol is one of the external antiviral drugs. Shows activity against viruses Herpes simplex types 1 and 2, Varicella zoster; inhibits their absorption and penetration into the cell.
