Release form and composition
The drug is produced in the form of film-coated tablets: oval, biconvex, orange-pink shell, possibly the presence of marbling, the core from light yellow to gray-yellow, has a heterogeneous structure; for tablets with a dosage of 1000 mg, a dividing risk is applied on each side (10 pcs. in blisters, 3 or 6 packs in a cardboard box and instructions for use of Venolife Duo).
1 tablet contains:
- active substance: purified micronized flavonoid fraction (90% diosmin and 10% other flavonoids) in terms of anhydrous substance - 500 mg or 1000 mg;
- auxiliary components: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, magnesium stearate, gelatin, talc;
- film shell: sodium lauryl sulfate; ready-mix "Vivacoat" (glycerol, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, hypromellose, iron dye yellow oxide, iron dye red oxide).

Venolife Duo is a venotonic drug with an angioprotective effect. The composition of the drug includes a combination of diosmin and hesperidin, which has vasoconstrictor efficacy, which reduces the distensibility of the veins and venous stasis, decreases the permeability and increases the resistance of the capillaries.
The pharmacological activity of the drug in relation to the parameters of venous hemodynamics is confirmed by the results of clinical studies. Optimal clinical benefit for venous plethysmographic parameters such as venous capacity, venous compliance, and venous evacuation time has been demonstrated with a dose of 1000 mg daily.
Venolife Duo increases venous tone, helps to reduce the time of venous emptying, increase capillary resistance in case of severe microcirculation disorders.
The therapeutic effect of the combination "diosmin + hesperidin" has been proved for the treatment of chronic diseases of the veins of the lower extremities and hemorrhoids.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration, the active substance is actively metabolized.
The half-life is 11 hours. It is excreted mainly through the intestines, through the kidneys (including in the form of phenolic acids) it eliminates about 14% of the dose taken.
Indications for use
The use of Venolife Duo is indicated for the treatment (relief and elimination) of symptoms of chronic venous diseases, including signs of venous-lymphatic insufficiency (pain and cramps of the lower extremities, a feeling of fatigue, heaviness and distention in the legs) and manifestations of venous-lymphatic insufficiency (edema of the lower extremities, trophic changes in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, trophic venous ulcers).
In addition, the drug is recommended for the symptomatic treatment of chronic and acute hemorrhoids.

Venolife Duo tablets are taken orally with meals, swallowed whole and washed down with water.
Recommended dosage:
- venous lymphatic insufficiency: 1000 mg once a day (in the morning). Treatment is long-term (from 60 to 365 days), if you need to repeat the course, you should consult your doctor;
- chronic hemorrhoids: 1000 mg once a day;
- acute hemorrhoids: during the first 4 days - 1000 mg 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and evening), then over the next 3 days - 1000 mg 2 times a day (morning and evening). If after 7 days of therapy the symptoms do not disappear, you should contact a proctologist for further therapy. It is impossible to independently increase the duration of the course of taking the pills.
Side effects
- from the central nervous system: rarely - general malaise, headache, dizziness;
- from the gastrointestinal tract: often - nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, diarrhea; infrequently - colitis; frequency not established - abdominal pain;
