Chymotrypsin belongs to a group of proteolytic drugs that are obtained from the pancreas of cattle. The drug has anti-inflammatory, antiviral and healing effects.

Instructions for the use of Chymotrypsin
According to the prescription of the Chymotrypsin instructions, the exact dosage is prescribed by the attending physician according to the patient's indications.
For diseases of the respiratory system, Chymotrypsin should be administered intramuscularly 1 time per day, 5-10 mg. The course of treatment lasts 12-14 days. If necessary, a repeated course of treatment can be prescribed at an interval of 14 days.
According to the instructions, Chymotrypsin in the postoperative period is prescribed to be administered 1 time per day intramuscularly at 10 mg, together with 3 ml of novocaine.
For prophylaxis and for the purpose of antibacterial therapy, Chymotrypsin is administered at 30 mg 1 time per day pleurally.
With thrombophlebitis, the drug is prescribed to be administered intramuscularly at 10 mg for 10 days. Repeated courses should not be prescribed.
For the treatment of inflammation and infections of the sensory organs, Chymotrypsin is instilled with the addition of 1% novocaine on the mucous membranes, 1 ml 2 times a day.
Topically, the drug is applied to sterile wipes and applied to purulent wounds and affected skin, 20-40 mg with 10 ml of procaine solution. The course of treatment is 10 days.
Contraindications
