Pharmacological properties

Tonsipret is a complex homeopathic remedy, the action of which is due to the properties of its constituent components.

Guaiacum (extract of guaiac tree), capsicum (extract of capsicum) and phytolacca americana (extract of American lakonos) have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects due to the content of flavonoids, saponins and essential oils. Capsaicin, found in chili peppers, has a rapid pain relieving effect. Lakonos American stimulates the T- and B-lymphocytic systems, thereby providing an immunostimulating effect. It also induces the production of endogenous gamma interferon, which has antiviral activity.

Indications for use

According to the instructions, Tonsipret is indicated as a symptomatic remedy for chronic and acute inflammatory diseases of the larynx, pharynx and tonsils, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, laryngitis.

Contraindications

Tonsipret tablets dissolve slowly in the mouth, in the period of acute pain - 1 tablet every 30-60 minutes, then switch to a maintenance dose - 1 tablet 1-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals. For the treatment of chronic diseases, the drug is taken 1 tablet 3 times a day.

The maximum dose of the drug is 12 tablets per day.
