Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics

Badyagu is obtained from dried colonies of freshwater sponges - badyag, which belong to the group of coelenterates - Spongilla lacustris fragilis. The sponge lives in exceptionally clean fresh running water with a certain temperature.

The badyagi skeleton is a looped network of silica needles interconnected by organic matter - spongin. In addition, the badyagi contains phosphates, carbonates and other organic substances.

The mechanism of action of badyagi is due to the content of silicon needles, which, penetrating into the upper layer of the epidermis, provide mechanical irritation of the skin at the site of application of the drug, promotes the expansion of subcutaneous capillaries and deeper blood vessels. The activation of the superficial blood supply causes relief of local pain and provides an excellent resorption effect in the affected areas.

The use of Badyaga powder potentiates the body to the local release of its own biologically active substances - histamine, prostaglandins, autakoids, kinins, which restoring the protective functions of the skin and local immunity, contribute to the rapid healing of damaged tissues, resorption of seals and scars.

Getting into the upper layer of the epidermis, crushed flint needles deeply cleanse and narrow the pores, cause a decrease in the activity of the sebaceous glands.
