Aerosol for external use Spregal

Spregal is an insecticidal anti-scab agent.

Release form and composition

Dosage form - aerosol for external use: clear solution from light yellow to dark yellow (152 g each in aluminum cylinders equipped with a continuous valve, 1 cylinder in a cardboard box).

Active substances in 10 g / 1 bottle:

  • esdepalletrin (esbiol) - 0.066 g / 1.008 g;
  • piperonyl butoxide - 0.531 g / 8.064 g

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Scabies is caused by an intradermal parasite called itch itching. The drug contains esdepalletrin - a neurotoxic poison that damages the nervous system of insects (disrupts the cation exchange of nerve cell membranes). Also included in the product is piperonyl butoxide, which stimulates the effect of esdepaletrin.

The drug begins to act immediately after the first use. In human blood, the components that make up the aerosol are determined 1 hour after the application of the aerosol. The maximum concentration of esdepalletrin is determined after 1 hour, the substance piperonyl butoxide - 2 hours after external use. 24 hours after using the product, traces of active components in the blood are not detected.

Indications for use

Spregal is intended for the treatment of scabies.

Contraindications

  • obstructive bronchitis;
  • bronchial asthma;
  • lactation period;
  • individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

With caution and only if the benefits outweigh the potential risks, the aerosol should be used during pregnancy.
