Release form and composition

Dosage forms of the drug release:

Anaferon for children has antiviral and immunomodulatory effects. When conducting preclinical / clinical studies, its effectiveness against influenza viruses, parainfluenza, herpes simplex viruses of types 1 and 2 (including genital and labial herpes), other herpes viruses (including infectious mononucleosis, chicken pox), enteroviruses, respiratory syncytial virus (PC virus), rotavirus, adenovirus, calicivirus, tick-borne encephalitis virus, coronavirus.

Anaferon for children helps to reduce the concentration of the virus in the affected tissues, affects the system of endogenous interferons and cytokines coupled with them, induces the formation of endogenous early interferons (IFN α / β) and gamma-interferon (IFN γ).

It has a stimulating effect on the cellular and humoral immune response. Increases the production of antibodies (including secretory IgA), activates the functions of T-helpers (Tx), T-effectors, and also normalizes their ratio. Promotes an increase in the functional reserve of Th and other cells that are involved in the immune response.

Instructions for the use of Anaferon for children: method and dosage

Anaferon tablets for children are taken orally, between meals, holding in the mouth until completely dissolved (sublingually or buccal), 1 tablet at a time.

Recommended dosing regimen, if there are no other prescriptions:

• influenza, ARVI, herpesvirus infections, intestinal infections, neuroinfections: it is recommended to start therapy at the first appearance of signs of acute viral infection using the following scheme: the first 2 hours of the tablets are taken 1 pc. every half hour, after which 3 more pieces are taken until the end of the first day. at regular intervals; from the second day and in the future, take 1 pc. 3 times a day until complete recovery;
• genital herpes (acute manifestations): at regular intervals, take pills according to the following scheme: from 1 to 3 days - 1 pc. 8 times a day, then - 1 pc. 4 times a day for 3 weeks or more;
• chronic herpesvirus infection (prevention of relapse): 1 pc. 1 time per day, the duration of the preventive course by the attending physician is determined individually and can reach six months;
