Flagil is a drug with antiprotozoal and antibacterial effect, intended for local use in gynecological practice. The preparation contains the active ingredient - metronidazole. The mechanism of action of Flagil lies in its ability to cause biochemical reduction of the 5-nitro group of metronidazole due to intracellular transport proteins of cells of protozoa and anaerobic microorganisms.
