Release form and composition
Dosage form - chewing lozenges: brown or dark brown, divided into slices, have a vanilla aroma (in a film wrapper 1 lozenge, 50 g each).
Composition of 1 lozenge:
- black food albumin - 2,375 mg;
- folic acid - 0.1 mg;
- pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B 6) - 2 mg;
- ascorbic acid (vitamin C) - 50 mg;
- copper (in the form of sulfate pentahydrate) - 0.25 mg;
- iron (in the form of sulfate heptahydrate) - 5 mg.
Excipients in the composition of Ferrohematogen: whole condensed milk with sugar, starch syrup, sucrose, vanillin.

Ferrohematogen is a source of complete protein, carbohydrates and fats. All amino acids and minerals contained in it are selected in the optimal ratio for the body.
Thanks to the use of the drug, the hemoglobin content in the blood increases, the morphological characteristics of erythrocytes improve. Copper sulfate, folic and ascorbic acids, as well as pyridoxine hydrochloride contribute to more active absorption of iron and its entry into the systemic circulation, which leads to the restoration of its normal content. Thanks to dietary albumin, condensed milk and sugar, Ferrohematogen can be used as a nutritional supplement in malnutrition.
Indications for use
- malnutrition, great physical activity, a period of active growth (as a therapeutic and prophylactic agent);
- condition after suffering iron deficiency anemia.
Contraindications
Absolute:
- impaired glucose tolerance;
- anemias that are not associated with iron deficiency;
- individual intolerance to the components in the Ferrohematogen.

- pregnancy;
- lactation period.
Instructions for the use of Ferrohematogen: method and dosage
Ferrohematogen is taken orally.
The drug is taken 2-3 times a day, 1 slice (children from 3 years old) or 1-2 slices (adults). The duration of use is usually 1–2 months.
After suffering iron deficiency anemia, 2 lobules are prescribed per day.
