Eteperazine is an antipsychotic agent that primarily affects the central nervous system.
The dosage form of Eteperazin is film-coated tablets. 1 tablet of the drug contains 4.6 and 10 mg of perphenazine.
Pharmacological action of Etperazine
The drug is a neuroleptic - an antipsychotic agent that has antiallergic, sedative, muscle relaxant, antiemetic, weak anticholinergic, hypotensive, antiemetic and hypothermic effects. The efficacy of Eteperazine is due to the blockade of D2 receptors of the mesocortical and mesolimbic systems.
