Bilberry anthocyanins have a stimulating effect on the synthesis and renewal of rhodopsin (visual pigment), which leads to improved vision and adaptation to low light conditions. Thanks to them, the process of retinal renewal is accelerated and eye fatigue during prolonged work is reduced. In combination with vitamins P and C, it strengthens the vascular walls, improves intraocular blood supply, and maintains normal intraocular pressure.

The complex of B vitamins is involved in the metabolic processes of the eye tissues. Thiamine improves eye performance, riboflavin helps reduce redness and burning sensation in the eyes and eyelids, lack of pyridoxine leads to increased tension and twitching of the eyes.

Zinc is involved in the production of rhodopsin and the transmission of light signals through the retina, protecting the eyes from damage caused by bright light, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, and other oxidative stress. With zinc deficiency, there is a decrease in color perception and structural changes in the retina.

Lutein forms zeaxanthin in the tissues of the eye, contributes to the shielding and antioxidant protection of the eyes from light flux and UV radiation.
